The “tooth” pendant is carved from ethically sourced, cattle bone with a bead chain. These necklaces are handmade by Maasai artisans in Kenya using traditional methods passed down through the generations.

Each bead that is used by the Maasai has meaning behind it. In this necklace, the black bead chain symbolizes unity and solidarity, which also represents the struggle the Maasai people endure which ultimately brings them together as people.
