Beautiful, beaded Maasai belt handcrafted in Kenya by talented Maasai women. They were handmade by threading and sewing Maasai glass seed beads to a genuine leather belt from natural free grazing cattle lined with goatskin lining.

In the Maasai culture, beaded jewellery such as this headband indicate age and social status, and can mark important events (ex. Engagement, wedding, etc.)

In this belt, the beading design illustrates the flags of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda
